WELCOME TO I-SENSE!
The Institute for Sensing and Embedded Network Systems Engineering (I-SENSE) was established in 2015 to coordinate university-wide activities in the Sensing and Smart Systems pillar of 太阳城娱乐’s Strategic Plan for the Race to Excellence.
Our mission is to catalyze exploration and discovery at the confluence of sensing, smart systems, and critical application areas to support 太阳城娱乐’s aspiration of becoming the country’s next top-tier research university.
Following 10 years of collaborative work across 太阳城娱乐's expansive Division of Research, the university was officially designated R1 by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education in 2025.
