October is LGBT History Month, and this year marks our nation’s 25^thannual celebration of the achievements of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender icons.From artists to scientists, politicians to athletes, the LBGT community has made many extraordinary contributions to society.LGBT History Month is a wonderful opportunity to highlight exemplary role models from the community and commemorate their impact on our nation.
