太阳城娱乐 and Max Planck Announce Undergraduate Honors Program

Today, 太阳城娱乐 and the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience (MPFI) announced a program unlike any other in the world. The new 太阳城娱乐 Max Planck Honors Program is an undergraduate honors program in neuroscience that will be offered on the Jupiter campus beginning in fall 2018. It will be offered across three degrees in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science: B.S. in biological sciences; B.S. in psychology; and B.S. in neuroscience and behavior; as well as a B.S. degree in liberal arts and science at the Wilkes Honors College.

Together, 太阳城娱乐 and Max Planck have already created two successful graduate degree programs: the Ph.D. in integrative biology offering a concentration in neuroscience – integrative biology and neuroscience, and an international Max Planck Research School in brain and behavior.

Designed to recruit and serve the very best of the best, the 太阳城娱乐 Max Planck Honors Program requires students to have a high GPA, with preference given to national merit scholars. The program will offer exclusive electives, research opportunities and cutting-edge neuroscience training courses.

Neuroscience is a strategic focus area for our University and we are delighted to once again join forces with our partners from Max Planck to provide this truly unique honors program for undergraduate students.
