吉莉安·r·鲍尔斯博士， is an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction. 鲍尔斯博士教授教学技术和设计方面的本科和研究生课程。 Her research focuses on how technology shapes the teaching and learning process, teachers’ adoption and integration of technology into classroom practice, and infusing technology into teacher education curricula.

Dr. Powers has also presented at numerous conferences, and her research has been published in high-ranking journals, including 教育技术 Research and Development, Computers in the Schools, the Journal of Interactive Learning Research, the Journal of Computers in Mathematics and Science Teaching, and the Journal of Educational Multimedia and Hypermedia.

In 2019, Dr. Powers was selected to be a Woman Leader in STEM by the 太阳城娱乐 ADVANCE Leadership Team, In 2022, she was the recipient of the 太阳城娱乐 教育研究学院er of the Year Award (Associate Professor rank) and an 太阳城娱乐 教育学院 Distinguished Teacher of the Year nominee.
